This was one of my first explorations with texture on canvas. The metallic finish on the 3D sections was created by dusting metallic powder over dried acrylic, a technique that gave the piece its unique quality.
The layering of textures and colours creates an impression of movement, like two forces spiralling around each other, uncertain whether they’re merging or pulling apart.
It captures both balance of power and beauty. As a transitional piece, it bridges some new experimentation with a more intentional expression of living.
